Low-Pressure Pneumatic

Our pneumatic actuators include rack-and-pinion and scotch yoke designs.

Scotch yoke design creates high break-out torques, hence suitable for quarter-turn valves up to the largest sizes. Double acting and spring return gas actuators for remote and local operation of valves in on-off and modulating heavy-duty service.

Rack-and-pinion actuators

Provides the most economical on-off and modulating control for small to medium quarter-turn valves. available in 12 sizes as spring return or double-acting models. The actuators have a tough and reliable design and are intended to operate quarter-turn valves or any other quarter-turn application. This actuator comes with coated body and endcaps, has a special high corrosion-resistant aluminum pinion design, and has stainless steel fasteners, resulting in a long-lasting, durable actuator design.

Electro-hydraulic

Our Standard Electro-Hydraulic Operator(EHO) is a self-contained electro-hydraulic actuator designed to actuate quarter-turn valves. It is designed to provide fail-safe actuation for Emergency Shut Down(ESD) valves. The Bettis Standard EHO provides a straight forward, simple, reliable ESD actuator solution.

High-Pressure Gas Over Oil Scotch Yoke

High-pressure pipeline scotch yoke valve actuator that automates valves on gas transmission pipelines where there are no pneumatic or hydraulic supply lines available.
